Announcing the 2026 MOSTLY LOCAL BLOCK PARTY and Pipe Show.
This next April, Hearth will be hosting an Earth Day/420 celebration in partnership with Birdfoot. This event will include live glassblowing and flameworking demonstrations by established and up and coming flameworkers! Celebrations will kick-off Friday night, April 17th, with a gallery opening from 5-8pm and demonstration. The event will continue Saturday morning with glassblowing demonstrations at Hearth, flameworking demonstrations will be from 12-8pm at Birdfoot. Music and libations will be available at Birdfoot!

Toe River Arts
Studio Tour - Spring
Hearth Glass & Gallery will be participating in next year’s spring Studio Tours hosted by Toe River Arts. Demonstrations will start at 10am daily.
Since 1992, the Toe River Arts Studio Tour has showcased the talent and studios of North Carolina’s Yancey and Mitchell County artists. These world-renowned, well-traveled, and skilled artists bring beauty to the world by sharing their craft. All of the artists featured have a fascinating story, interesting background, and their own “Journey of the Arts.” The Studio Tour is a showcase for local artists to feature their work, processes, and studio spaces. Along with the Studio Tour, participating artists will exhibit their work in the Spruce Pine Gallery.

Studio Tour - FALL
Hearth Glass & Gallery will be participating in this year’s Fall Studio Tours hosted by Toe River Arts. We will also be joined by a local food truck. Demonstrations will start at 12pm daily.

We will be attending the Private Sip & Shop event on Friday, July 24th from 12 - 3 PM at Mountain Air Country Club.
Club Members and guests will have the opportunity to browse and purchase an array of artwork and handmade crafts while enjoying a selection of beverages. This event aims to bring together talented artists and craftspeople from the community to showcase and sell their unique creations in a vibrant and social setting.

OPERATION PINT: A veterans art therapy event
November 2026
Hearth Glass & Gallery/Birdfoot
During the month of November, Hearth will offer free art therapy classes for veterans and host an art therapy luncheon at Birdfoot.
Although these workshops are being offered at no-cost, pre-registration for classes and attendance at the luncheon is required. Over the course of the month, Veteran will have the chance to attend a 30-minute "Make Your Own" session and craft a pint glass of their choice, selecting colors that resonate with them. Hearth Glass staff will then sandblast the veterans' respective Branch Insignia or Logo onto each glass prior to pick up.
Veterans will pick up their custom-made glasses from Birdfoot Taproom at 10 Orchard Dr, Burnsville, NC 28714 and attend a luncheon dedicated to art and therapy.
